Mutual Support Network Club Bylaws
The Club a private membership club, created by the founders united in their concern for the victims of discriminatory practices. These bylaws serve to ensure the safety and enjoyment of the Club and the facilities of all Club members and their guests. These bylaws may be changed by the owner/s unilaterally with proper notice to members. The task of enforcing these bylaws for the benefit of all members is placed primarily in the hands of carefully selected and trained staff. Their principal responsibility is to assure you of all the courtesies, comforts, and service to which you, as a member of a fine club, are entitled. It is furthermore the duty of the membership of the club to know these bylaws and to cooperate with the Club staff in their enforcement. Members are expected to report any violation of these bylaws to the Club management. Members violating these bylaws are subject to such action as deemed necessary in accordance with these bylaws, which may include suspension or expulsion from the Club.

GENERAL POLICIES
- Membership. Membership may be obtained by applying online (click here), truthfully filling out the Membership Application form and meeting the requirements for consideration of your application. An application found to have been false even after the fact, will result in immediate cancellation or denial of your membership and forfeiture of your membership dues already paid.
- Types of Members. There will be 3 types of membership for individuals or families.
- VIP - VIP members will be limited to 25. In addition to the pools and pool areas, VIP membership allows you access to the lodge lounge and VIP bar with the championship snooker table and premium brand drinks, and the Eagle's Nest once opened. You may also bring up to 6 guests to enjoy pool & cabana privileges up to 3 times a year. We regret, children younger than 18 may not enjoy VIP membership privileges even if their parents do.
- Premium - Premium members will be limited to 25. In addition to the pools and pool areas, Premium membership allows you access to the VIP bar and you may bring up to 4 guests to enjoy pool & cabana privileges up to 3 times a year. We regret, children younger than 18 may not enjoy Premium membership privileges even if their parents do.
- Casual - Casual membership allows you entry to the facilities for a reduced fee per visit. You may also bring up to 2 guests per visit also for a fee. A family may want to combine this membership with mom and dad having VIP or Premium membership.
- Club Spirit. The Club is a social club for all member with quality of character where all can enjoy their time where no divisive element, where race, sex, creed and political affiliation shall play no role.
- Requirements. The requirements to be made a Member include but are not limited to having a verifiable history of:
- Being courteous, respectful and non-discriminatory to all who have earned it;
- Being well-behaved with a good reputation;
- Maintaining a decorum of poise and grace;
- Being honest; and
- Being neat on your person and your environment.
- Dues. Once the Membership Committee has approved your application, you must pay your membership dues to be eligible.

- Debit and Cards. To avoid cash attracting robbers, we encourage use of cards.
- Nudity and indemnification. This is a clothing optional facility. By becoming a member you agree thereto and assure the rest of the members that you, your family members who may accompany you and your guests accept it and all risks pertaining thereto, and you indemnify the Club and its owner/s from any liability arising out of your assurance and acceptance.
- Adults. You have to be at least 18 years old to be a member.
- Minors. Children of members under 18 years of age must be accompanied by parent to be on site on any Club premises.
- Cash. Cash is accepted but in small amounts.
- Membership Card. All members shall be issued a Membership Card to be presented when requested.
- Exceptional service. We want service to be exceptional and encourage tipping for such service of 10-15%. If you feel you server does not deserve that, please bring it to Club management's attention.
- Registration. You will register at the reception desk upon arrival and present your Membership Card and when asked, assist the staff in learning your name to help us prevent unwanted intruders from entering the facilities.
- Limited facilities. We do not have unlimited facilities and have no way of telling how many members may visit, so reservations are strongly recommended.
- Sustainability The Club survives by membership dues, accommodation and profit on food and beverages. You may therefore not bring and consume your own food or beverages at the lapa, the pools or the lodge.
- Free for all. The dining room and areas are available for paying guest dining on a first come first served basis, unless you have made a specific reservation ahead of time.
- Reservations. A dinner reservation will be held for 15 minutes after the initial reservation time. If you do not arrive within 15 minutes you will lose your reservation and the table may be given to another Member.
- Dress Code: Dress in the Club is dependent upon which area of the Club you are using. For the dining area in the lodge bare feet, bare chests or swimming suits are not permitted and casual but neat attire with appropriate footwear is required. Outside by the pool and pool bar you are welcome to enjoy it in any attire you choose, or none. The Club Management shall have sole discretion to determine what is considered appropriate dress for any area of the Club facilities.
- Settling charges. All food, beverages and service charges are acknowledged by signing the ticket with your name and Membership number and settled immediately. We do not run tabs until you check out.
- Guest Privileges. Guests of Members may use the Club by becoming Temporary Members and obtaining their own Membership Cards before setting foot on the premises, and may only thereafter be on the premises when accompanied by the Sponsoring Member. In the event that the Member cannot accompany the guest to use the Club, the Member has to write an authorization letter to the Club Manager in advance to get approval to allow the guest to use the Club。The guest privilege can only be extended three (3) times per calendar year per member. If a member wishes to bring 2 or more guests at one time, the member must make prior arrangements with Management.
- Liability. Members are responsible for their guest’s actions and are liable for any incidents involving their guests. If Management finds it necessary to ask a guest to leave, it is up to the member to ensure that they do, even if the member has to leave too. In the event of any dispute, the member will be required to leave too. Failure to leave when asked to do so shall be grounds for revocation of membership.
- Bases for Revocation of Membership. Violation of these bylaws shall constitute a basis. You waive you right to free speech for the privilege of membership. Racial, religious (whether pro or against) and political slurs or engaging in religious or political argument shall be another. If you want to discuss religion or politics amicably with others willing to listen it may not be a problem, but if anyone finds it objectionable you have to quit.
- Revocation of membership. At the sole discretion of Management, anyone may be asked to leave the premises and the member and/or their guests would have to leave. If revocation of membership is contemplated, Management will so inform the member and schedule and notify the member of a hearing with 7 days advance notice and allow the member to show cause why their membership should not be revoked. Management will then make a determination and may refund the ex-member their pro-rated unused dues if the cause for the revocation was not egregious in Management's view, and if it was egregious, without refund.
- Private functions. The Club facilities may be used to host private functions and events such as weddings, which may limit or preclude Members' use for a day or two. These functions help us reduce the cost of facilities and membership to you.
- Discounts. Members are entitled to substantial discounts (to be announced).
- Smoking. According to the relevant government regulations, smoking is only allowed in certain designated areas and by law prohibited in all others.
- Parking. Ample parking is free to members in the designated areas.
- Hours of Operation. Please call the Club or refer to the Club Newsletter for the current hours of operation.
- Waiver of liability. All Members will be required to read and sign a waiver of liability in which they indemnify and hold harmless the owner/s and operator/s of any business or Club run on or from whatever premises from any liability with respect to the Member's presence on these premises.
- Towels. Towels can be rented for R10 a day by leaving a cash deposit of R110 at the Kontiki Bar. Your R100 will be returned when you return the towel.
- Food and beverages. No food or beverages other than those provided by Club facilities may be consumed at the Lapa, the pools and in the lodge.
- Pets. We are pet friendly. Well-behaved an controlled pets may be allowed on Club property with permission from management, and dogs required by the visually impaired.
- Compliance. All Members are urged to follow these Bylaws posted throughout the Club facilities and ensure that their guests adhere to them as well.
- Quality of Service. We aim to provide top quality service. If you at any time experience unsatisfactory service, please report it immediately to the manager or other supervisory staff.
